Below is an article which I had worked on for publication in the Army Times or the Armed Forces Journal, but the editors and I were never able to successfully work out the details for its publication, so I backed off on my efforts since I had many other things on my plate at the time. I had hoped to get this article published and then use that as a springboard toward publication of my book on the same subject. When all didn't work out, I also took this as a sign from God that it wasn't yet time. In any case, now that I have this website, I want to make sure that the information is available.

Also, Wounded Warrior Project is an excellent organization that helps our troops. As they state on their site, "The greatest casualty is being forgotten."
Founded in 2003, WWP’s purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
